There was a guy on tv yesterday who said you can get someone to do just about anything if you offer them a big enough incentive, eg they might eat a maggot sandwich for ten thousand pounds.

They might also kill someone else if they think they will get a big enough reward from God. So are the "ultra faithful" mormons who would kill for their religion really just willing to be mercenaries if the price is right?

I had a girlfriend once who was convinced of this view, that I would have sex with a man for the right money, or enough beer.

I still maintain that I wouldn't. Not for all the money or beer in the world.

But I believe that *some* people probably do have a price, enough in any society, including Mormon society, that you could easily find somebody willing to do any job, for the right rewards.
