At this Gen Con time, let us hearken back to the BYU campus newspaper's infamous publication of that alarming arm-raising photo of the "12 Apostates" . . .

Yeah, that was funny. The things BYU students say regularly in their opinion section leave me feeling "shocked and appalled" on a regular basis. I've always wondered why we don't make fun of them here more often.

Does anyone really believe that was an "accident" or...

...was it more likely a funny prank by someone trying to be a smarta$$? Was it really an editing error? It was a college paper after all.

Maybe their spell check thought the word "apostate" was more likely than "apostle."

Besides, the headline says 12 and I only count 11. Where was the outrage about that, huh? :-)
