The irony of seeing the BoM and a pair of scissors together in the same frame is too much.

A little snip here...a little snip there. No on will notice the changes. All 4,000 of them.

If this is the first printed edition:

Please find all incorrect grammatical errors.

Please find all plagiarized passages from the Bible

Please find all other plagiarized passages from other sources.

Weigh what is left and see if there is any 'weight' to this "scripture".

Excellent suggestions.

Here's my feeble attempt:

- a cut here, a snip there; no one will notice.
- BoM: the cruelist cut of all
- cut & run ....quickly!
- the BoM - a real cut-up
- cut your losses & send your resignation letter today
- the bible & the bom: cut from the same cloth
- not cut out for telling the truth, so cut away

Question;
"What are we to understand about the accompanying pair of scissors?"

Answer;
"As the Seasons do change periodically, the Lord has provided a plan to keep the Book of Mormon handily correctable."

Inspiration for the story of Shiz the beheaded? The Book of Mormon and a pair of scissors owned by the Smith family. Historians now believe that we can thank these scissors for the story of Shiz in the Book of Mormon, based on the following excerpt from a previously unknown Lucy Mack letter recently found in a locked trunk in Gordon B. Hinckley's attic:

"One night after Joseph had consumed three bottles of sacramental wine, which he had been instructed to do by Nephi the angel, he was filled with the spirit of inspiration. He instructed me to bring him my best scissors, saying, 'the Lord thy God commandeth you to bringeth unto his shervant Zhozeph Shmith, the shizzorss for to cut out the headings of some writings which are not of God but of men. Bringeth forth therefore the shizzors wherefore the headings may be cut.' At that moment a light came into Joseph's eyes and the revelation of the story of Shiz, who was beheaded came forth as a perfeckt translation of the ancient writings."

It is believed that the late President Hinckley had purchased this letter with church funds and had only temporarily locked it in a trunk in his attic for safekeeping, intending to deliver it to the Church Historian at an appropriate time.
