For dit in the big city west of Shiner, TX.

So they do beer tastings in Shiner at the brewery there, right? I'm thinking that could be a good mid-point between the big city to the west and the big city to the east of Shiner.

Hmmmm. A trip to Shiner, TX. Do you think there are any other TX exmos who like beer and who would be interested in meeting at the Spoetzel brewery? I can't tell if the Shiner folks let people on the tour sample the beer like every other brewery I have ever been to does. http://www.shiner.com/shiner_news/index.php?cat=7.

I'm going to the H-town this weekend. I work at home and the office I 'work' out of is having a Fall Festival on Saturday at Memorial Park. I would say come meet me and my family but I know I'll be busy with co-workers. We'll have to meet up another time I'm in town.

bummer, they only do tours during the week. That is tough for me. As a Mom, student and busy-b employee it's tough to get away for a day during the week.

They used to do ROcktoberfest that was always fun but I don't see it on the events page anymore. Wursfest is coming up in New Braunsfels. That seem like fun.
