Starbucks, American Fork, THIS Sunday Oct. 23 at 10:00 AM. Everyone is invited.

At the exmo conference last week I was surprised at how many people came up to us and thanked us for all the little exmo get togethers my wife and I have done over the years. But we haven't done many of these lately so I was thinking it's about time.

It's just a little get together to shoot the bull and hang out with a few non-judegmental, non-mormons for awhile. Hope to see you there!

Cool! Hope you can make it. Are your sure it isn't alergies? I've had a runny nose

and red eyes nearly all week. I know it's alergies because when I turn the fan on in the car the effect is immediate. Sneezing and a runny nose.

As a couple of AF residents and board-lurkers, my wife and I are interested in dropping by and meeting some like-minded people. Are there any specific signs (or tokens) that we should look for, so we don't have to awkwardly ask everyone if they are with the exmo group? :)

Do you guys think you'll ever do one in Salt Lake? I live in Davis County so AF is pretty far. I would love to meet up with some people from this board.

I've seen groups in SLC getting together but we probably won't be going up there ourselves. Have

you considered just putting an invite out there and see who comes? That's what we did. We've had numerous get togethers, hikes, picnics, Starbucks meetups, swimming at Dimple Dell Rec Center. We've had as many as 50 people show up to some of the hikes and picnics. Much fewer at Starbucks but its always an interesting group. Feel free to come tomorrow though.

Actually B...I think it would be HILARIOUS if we all showed up and just started asking random people, "Are you here for the Ex-Mormon gathering??" hahaha...Im in Eagle Mountain...I think I may just show up!! Thats if I can get the kids out the door that fast.

Actually, I DID go up to a stranger and ask them if they were part of the EXMO gathering! It was a party of 3

and they weren't part of our get together but they thought it was cool that some exmos were getting together on a Sunday in Utah Valley. They just laughed and said Way to go! Two of them were exmos as well but they had just showed up at Starbucks on their own.

It WAS fun wasn't it? And I'm always amazed at the cool and interesting people that show up to these things.

Seriously, we were there for hours. Maybe next time I should contact Starbucks and see if they could get us some discounts for our group?

Now I'm sorry I left at noon. It was a great gathering!

Oh, a note to B... After I got home I realized we were talking about different grade schools. I live by the school that a few blocks east and 7or 8 blocks North or yours.

We're still pretty close neighbors, just not that close.
