I was visiting a local college campus yesterday. This campus is in the midwest, and I am an alumni. I was noticing that there were messages written in chalk on the sidewalks, much like when I attended there 20 years ago. As I was explaining to my husband that those chalk messages would tell us where the parties were, I stopped to read one. It said, "Want to know more? Visit Morman.org". We passed three more that said the same thing along our two block walk. No parties, just Morg crap. WTF???? Has anyone else seen these at other campuses? Is this a "new" missionary tool? Well, it made me throw up a little in my mouth...

oops! I misspelled "Mormon". I've been out so long that it didn't even look wrong at first! lol!

And you didn't borrow some chalk and direct people here? LOL!

I SHOULD have grabbed some chalk and wrote, "Want to know the TRUTH? Go to exmormon.org." That WOULD have been hysterical! Dang!

Or just amend each and every one to say exmormon.org. :-)

There are probably faith promoting stories about a fallen mormon who was looking for party info in the chalk writing and found the one about mormon.org and he felt the spirit and cast off satan and became a happy sheeple.

Haven't seen the mormon chalk messages in So. Cal. The campus doesn't like the chaulk and tries to crack down on them in general. There are missionaries on campus tho. They do "tabling" during greek week and such.

The university I'm at ( midwest ) they allow the chalk and encourage it to get students involved. They even have graffiti walls that they paint white every week so students can paint new stuff that is happening on campus every week. I haven't seen any mormon stuff but some other school ministries have.
