This page on FamilySearch.org is endlessly fascinating. Each wife's pedigree and family can be followed.

The page only shows 37 marriages but clearly there were more.

Many of his wives appear to be already married to others.

Many were married to Joseph Smith.

Some show that they were divorced from BY.

14 occured in January and February of the year 1846.

Here is the range of ages of the wives. (A couple of entries didn't show ages.)

That time of year it must have been a "three dog night"...

He had been eating to many cowpies with mushrooms. A span of fifty years from the youngest to the oldest. He sure did like variety.

A lot of the older ones were women Joseph Smith had married to help him introduce the concept to young girls he couldn't hang around alone himself.

I read somewhere (help, anyone?) that BY had the older women operating/managing his various business endeavors.

why doesn't it show mary rollins lightner?

I'm not sure how familysearch.org works but I believe people enter their own family history. So maybe Mary Rollins Lightner's family is remiss about doing their required geneology.

If I were a descencent of BY, I for sure wouldn't be bragging about it!!

I don't think we will ever know the truth and evil things Brig done. I have always felt he wanted to be a king and a self appointed god. He loved his control and complete power over the mormons. How many lives and families did he destroy? Cover ups,,land grabs,,the list goes on.
