Because it was a much happier spiritual story. And probably had more revealed truth. And you got to see the angels. And nobody had to risk their life crossing the plains. You didn't have to obey or promise anything to anyone. Nobody was judging you when you left the room. It wasn't a life sentence. You didn't have to give up two years of your life to talk about it. And i'm just guessing but i bet the chair you were in was more comfortable, and popcorn instead of a bread crust with a drop of water.
