Pets don't know about the time change, so they wake me up at the same time as always, meaning it's an hour earlier on the clock than I normally get up.
I get it back in the spring when they wake me up is an hour later.
Although, as I have pets (like scarecrowfromoz) I kind of enjoy that extra hour of peace and quiet before my grandchildren wake up and start pestering me. (They pester me because my son says things like "In a minute")
...which is how I try to fill the hole in my soul left by the departed Holy Ghost.
At first it was kind of creepy not having him around, but now it's so much nicer without him as a tenant. No more complaining and pounding on the wall. No more holier-than-thou behavior. No passive-aggressive notes with the rent check.
So, woo-hoo! Fire up the human sacrifice altar and bring in a fresh load of virgins.
One of the Waffen-LDS troops sent out an email about 4 times reminding members to reset their clocks so they won't be late for church. I emailed him back and told him they would be an hour early if they did not reset their clock. Never heard back.
We are having a party tonight with a theme of "If I could turn back time." People are coming dressed in the clothing of their favorite past decade (if they feel like it). There will even be a few exmos there.
I will be breaking the sabbath by getting up early to go surfing at 5:30 instead of 6:30. There is a potent mix of NW and SW swells in the water now. Yeehah!
Spending at least 10 minutes of it at the new bishops house. If they leave a ward newsletter on my porch again. Will be the the 4th month. Thought might be just kids not knowing I don't get one. Haven't gotten them in 20 years. But the other day I had an invite to a relief society party attached to my door.
Time to put a stop to it.
Or do they live at the church all day Sunday?
Otherwise do what I do every Sunday.
Whatever I want. I hate daylight savings time also.
