Judging from my superficial knowledge of the Texas penal system, Jeffs will indeed be locked up for life. Still, what a relief to members of a certain institution headquartered in SLC. Yep, they've suffered enough embarrassment over Jeffs.
A friend of mine husband work in the prison where Jeffs is. He said he's in protective custody and since he is such a high profile case they have to watch him pretty well.
After the appeals and media have died down though, he will have to be a very cautious man..
