Surely, she must realize she isn't a "true mormon."
And she says keeping yourself chaste is equal, but then says something about women who have sex before marriage are considered used--but she doesn't state that the church says that about men.
Mormons are taught to be ashamed of their sexuality until marriage, and then after marriage get no deprogramming. They are applauded for having children, so they only can justify sex for reproduction. How can they have healthy sexual relations under those conditions?
Nothing about sex among unmarried couples or same gender. Yeah, I know it's a Utah paper, but please boys and girls, grow up! Not-married people have sex, too! And sex isn't *only* an expression of intimacy in a marriage and "healthy"--sex is actually fun in itself in all its variety!
I guess getting Mormons to consider sex in marriage might possibly be a little enjoyable is a first step . . . I just get impatient with this limp approach to sex.
