The way by which these women would display their status and beauty was not only through their finely-woven burqas but also through the types of elegant designer shoes they wore (which were at least partially visible beneath their shroud hemlines).
Also, they would decorate their eyes with elegant applications of make-up. In their own way, despite the tight restructions placed on what they could wear, they were actually quite attractive.
