Testimonies that made a difference!

F&T mtg was much more enjoyable before the mandated recitation of the 5 point testimony was implemented. I once sat mesmerized as a lady in our ward bore her testimony on the truthfulness of the books and the faithfulness of the saints in 'The Work and The Glory' series by Gerald Lund. She even TMI shared with the congregation about the personal sacrifices she'd made in her life to make time to read all the books published. People actually came up to her afterwards and told her how much they enjoyed her testimony- shear malice.

IIRC that is Historical Fiction...

is that a "Mo" word cause it makes no sense

I remember sitting in testimony meeting with my young adult daughter who was well on her way out at the time. It was the usual freak show and I told her "That's it, I'm boycotting F&T meetings from now on" She said "Those are the best ones! Entertainment wise"

Lol! They could be very entertaining- The face the blond boy had while he was watching Napoleon Dynamite and Summer perform Happy Hands. F&T facial expression!
