Fun sayings

This evening I stumbled across todays Huffington Post article asking if Mitt Romney was screwed because of his faith. Mixed in amongst the usual indignant TBM and sceptic comments was someone who said a common phrase was "as useless as an anthropology degree from BYU". That made me chuckle as a Brit abroad. Are there any other fun sayings?

Fun sayings that have nothing to do with the Morg, but

I spend a great deal of time with a couple from the south.

The things they say! It's a hoot.

"He's so buck toothed he could eat corn through a picket fence."

"I'm as hot as a freshly fucked fox in a forest fire"
