Remember those cheesey-assed, zippered covers to hold your quad that had the little handles sewn in them so you could carry it? WTF were we thinking? And to think the RS and YM had special meeting to make them out of denim! Of course, I, myself, was uppity and went to Deseret Book and bought the leather version! Bwahahahahahaha!

Mine was big and heavy enough to smash the skull of anyone who didn't believe the way I did. Call it my Sword of Laban.

When I still believed a few years ago, I bought a case and a quad for my son when he turned 12. I just realized that i never purchased one for my daughter who just recently turned 12. Grrrrr....now I feel like I have to buy a set for her just for the sake of treating son & daughter equally.

I never had one, but can remember my parents, and older bros had one. I can remember everyone losing them, or having to stop, turn around, and go back to the church to get a forgoten quad.

Misfit, I may have a quad you can have. My parents gave me one for christmas, many years ago, and I think it is still in a box, in a protective wrapper somewhere...I hate that you have to get her one, but at least the morg won't make money off mine.

Dude! You can't do that! Yours might say that the Lamanites are still gonna turn white and delightsome!

Jon1, I think I'll bite on this offer. Thank you. I'm on the West Coast, in SoCal. I'd be happy to pay for shipping. Better the Post office make money than the Corporation of the President. I think if you click on my moniker, my email should come up. I'd appreciate it. If you can't find it, no big deal.

BTW, the latest edition still says the Lamanites will become white and delightsome.

I want the introduction in my daughter's quad BofM to still say that the Lamanites are the principal ancestors of the Indians!

I had a homemade pink, lacy cover.
When I moved out of my mom's house, I left the scriptures, in their case, behind! hahahahahaha

My parents had given me when I was 8. They had the white leather covers that apparently they quit selling shortly after I got mine. I don't recall ever forgetting them at church. Maybe that's because I left them at home every week.

I had a black leather one. Don't they still use them? If not, what?

Our HP group is over 50 percent I-pad scriptures.

I never had a quad. When I graduated from seminary they gave us triple combos. I asked for the small pocket sized version. When my dad saw it he was mad saying that little thing won't be much use on a mission.

Exactly!
