Here's the article by Mormon writer Joanna Brooks calling for more "humanizing" media coverage of the church.

The LDS Church teaches that all other religions are not true and only theirs is true. The LDS Church has temples that they wrap in a shroud of sacred-not-secret that only the "worthy" can enter and won't talk about. They make you wear dumbass underwear. They believe an angel with a burning sword told Joseph Smith he had to practice polygamy or be struck down.

And this is just for starters.

And the 15 Pharisees in SLC don't get why most of the world doesn't trust them or why the rest of christianity aren't falling all over themselves to embrace them?

To me the LDS CHurch is like an irritating child at Thanksgiving who insists on sitting at the table with the adults.

Interestingly, the negative image hasn't changed since the last time Romney ran. That means all those millions spent on advertising are a complete waste of money.

You can say you're not weird, but if you are weird, people aren't going to believe you. Isn't that weird?
