And you thought that only Mormons shunned those whom leave the fold...

The shunning by the Lutheran members has begun. DH and I went out to lunch Sunday morning and past WalMart on the way home. A couple from my former Lutheran church passed by us at the store.

Dave returned our smiles, but Barb looked right through me.

At that point, Dave, while looking at his wife, asked her: "Don't you recall whom she is?"

She replied: "Yes, I recall who she is." They continued walking so I didn't hear the ending to their conversation.

I am going to continue to be friendly towards my former Lutheran congregation. How they wish to respond, is up to them.
