Latest on the local HP's to re-activate me...

I've mentioned before that an elderly HP in the Lethbridge area has hinted I am his "project" (my terminology) to get re-activated in the MORG. Well, last week he invited me and my Catholic wife to the annual ward Christmas party. I said that we wouldn't be going and we were NOT interested. What I didn't tell him was that we were hosting our own party that night with a house full of Catholics, one other non-functioning Mormon and with lots of booze....I'm hopeful we don't get another invite...but we'll see.....stay tuned...

You may be passing up free food.

I can assure you, having gone to a couple of ward Christmas parties after leaving--there will be no booze, free or otherwise. Have fun at your party.

You are going to miss out on the jello salad, cold turkey, and cold mashed potatos (potatoes). And hanging around the trash can talking with the Elders.....looking important and what not.

Do they still do that stuff?

I want to go to your Catholic party.!!!

I was a goooood party....great food (thanks to my sweet wife)...good fellowship and good booze!!
