quite making fun of politicians. You're going to scare people away from the United States by thinking that they might have freedom of speech there or something. :)

If an adult can be scared off by being reminded that Santa Claus isn't real then I don't really think they're ready to quit the church just yet..

Perhaps we are (collectively) wacky. I'm not at all in agreement of repressing opinion for the sake of promoting an image, particularly a false image.

I was trying to think (while munching my lunch) what personal characteristics of mine *don't* come across on this board. I do have a good sense of humor which I don't show off here. I can also be really ribald IRL. I try to pick my audiences for that, with some noteable failures, lol.

. . . and might scare away the tentative folks still sitting on the fence.
