Santa rules. I will lie to my kids about santa until they're old enough to figure it out, usually around 8 or 9. I will leave footprints by the fireplace, and eat the cookies to provide false "evidence" that santa visited. I will make up pseudo scientific theories to explain how santa can deliver all those presents in one night, and how reindeer can fly. My kids WILL believe in Santa Claus, until they decide not to. All you Santa haters are just Scrooges who refuse to enjoy the season. I'm off to watch Rudolph and Frosty with my kids.

I so appreciate this post. Too many people take so many things way too seriously. Let kids be kids and have fun and enjoy the season.

And as I generally prefer to avoid re-runs, I just skip these threads.

Because, ultimately, who gives a sh*t what anyone else thinks?
