From Jesus to Christ

This scholarly look at how the man Jesus became God is being shown on channel 7, Kued tonight at 9:00. It will probably not be a hit with either traditional Christians or Biblical literalists because it does not accept either the literal view of the Gospels or the divinity of Jesus. The Christ/myth people will not find anyone on the program who supports their theory either.

I watched it when it first came out and enjoyed it thoroughly.

I threw the paper away, but I think it is on Frontline. Definitely PBS. The history channel is too busy with Pawn Stars, Ice Road Truckers. Aliens and Nostradamus to deal with actual history..

I'll only defend Pawn Stars and American Pickers.

Both shows are repleat with actual history.

Ice Road Truckers is little more than a sound argument against evolution.

Okay, you have a point. There is some history in those two although it isn't what most people would expect from a channel which is supposed to be about history.It is kind of a backdoor approach. The problem is that is about all the history they have.

Speaking of the History Channel, be sure to catch the SouthPark episode where the HC produces a show about aliens at the first Thanksgiving.
