A local female PE teacher/coach groomed one of her students for abuse before she stalked and raped the poor kid many times over three years. The teacher rgularly threatened the young teen, spied on her with binnoculars. broke into the parents' house repeatedly and hid under the bed or in the child's closet.

Eventually, the teacher married and moved back to Utah where she seemed to live a normal family life until she was arrested, returned to California and convicted on enough charges to add up to 100 years in prison. In a statement to the court after the conviction, she blamed the victim for all of it. The judge was not impressed and sentenced her to the maximum of what was left of charges after earlier plea bargain negotiations.

The mormon potato article was in the food section and featured descriptions of "LDS" ham and potato funeral luncheons. It included two yummy recipes with many options and variations for different toppings and cream soup substitutions. Now I want to cook it for Christmas dinner.
