The church permanently (for life, maybe longer)literally red flags the files of anyone who has been excommunicated.

Every where you go, every bishop you have, sees that red flag. For the rest of your life.

The church never, never,never, forgives.

30 years from now, when you have long forgiven yourself, and forgotten most of the details, some bishop somewhere will want to drag out your past, rehash it, and hold it over you. Trust me, I've been there done that.

RED FLAGS-Oh heck YES -- Plus if you are excommunicated for apostacy it also includes internal memos and leadership notification. As I moved from where I once lived to a completely different location (country), the Church sent letters to all the potential Stakes and Wards in the said area, saying that I was excommunicated and a dangerous apostate.

In fact when I visited a ward, because of relatives, the bishop stood up and announced that they had an apostate in their midst.

incredible, is the amount of effort the church excercises to warn others about an exmormon in the area. geeze, they could of held class on stories of jesus instead. yep it is a cult

Yet the damn mormon church sticks to it's mantra "they can leave the church but they can't leave it alone." Do they have any idea how hypocritical they are?

Only reason we can't leave it alone is because we are too busy laughing at it.
