I don't play computer games. Never did arcade games, pacman, whatever. Moving objects on a screen drive my eyes nuts.

But, having heard about angry birds, I had to see what the hype was. Oh dear. I downloaded it on my phone and now....I spent nearly two hours playing it. I feel like a sloth. Granted, I can read for that long and much longer, but somehow I feel like my brain is at least working when I read.

Because it involves flinging birds at an object, it does not mess with my eyes the way other games do,in terms of moving objects. I made it through all the levels of the first game.

I think I need rehab.

He finished the first one, and went on to 'seasons' and now he's taking a break to detox. I got to the third level of the first one, but left my phone in the Manchester airport and haven't gotten it back yet. The withdrawal was ugly.

It is such a waste of time. My sister and niece have started playing it on my phone so now they always want my phone when I go over there.

I really hate those green pigs when they smirk at you when you lose. That is so wrong.

I really must stop. Tomorrow.

Buy the eagle. It helped me get past some of the more annoyingly difficult levels. And if you are really stumped just check youtube for how to defeat the level.

I like how there are often visual clues on where to aim the birds.

Not only does he have a growing menagerie of stuffed angry birds, he plays the game and he makes me sing about them in a song I made up. Then again, he has autism and he goes through his little obsessions. (So do I but mine is Terraria, not Angry Birds.)

Have fun!!
