I'm sure the Faithful will protest that the Romney myth of religious 'persecution' was questioned ...

It already has been. the 3rd or 4th comment down indignantly questions the 'polygamy' premise

seriously. Mitt and ChurchCo are such easy pickings. now that he is a serious contender, it becomes ok for the media to go into this stuff. the media will go after Mormonism like a pack of wolves. this is main stream media. this is going to be entertaining. where's my popcorn?

There are several commenters posting that the reporter is making unfounded claims about Romney's ancestors being polygamists.

They want proof.

That is one thing that has always bugged me about Mormons. Here you have a group of people that cry about how their ancestors faced persecution for their alternative marriage and yet today now that they have power, they treat gays no differently. Go figure.

Reasons:

1) He's ashamed of his Mexican heritage.

2) He took French on his mission, not Spanish.

3) He doesn't want to admit that his sun-tanned look is by Max Factor.

Couldn't Willard get dual Mexican citizenship since his dad was born in Mexico?

Miles Park Romney wasn't a pilgrim, heading to new lands to practice his colorful religious beliefs.

He was a fugitive on the lam from US authorities.

Can't wait to see this. Very anxious to see what is said.
