For those who have resigned by email (to Greg Dodge), how soon did you receive confirmation that they'd even got your request - sorry demand?

Thanx

About 2-3 weeks.

Another couple months later we got a letter from our ward (who we had never met) confirming our resignation.
Another couple months later we got a letter from our stake (who we had also never met) also confirming our resignation.
None of them were even signed by a human.
Interesting.

Did you email your resignation and now waiting for confirmation?

Yes, I emailed it on January 1st, had a read receipt but nothing else as yet, well the stake pres and the ward exec sec have been in touch but nothing more after I sent the exec sec away with a resounding flea in his ear!

2 days later--the "please come back" and the "this is a local matter."

About 2 to 3 weeks later, the bishop showed up at the door--told me he wouldn't try to talk me out of it (he knew my history) and gave me some cinnamon rolls.

Anyway--It has been a little over a year since I e-mailed them and the bishop showed up on February 1st of last year.

Has anyone ever had it ignored???? Because I get this sinking feeling that that's what they're trying to do with me.

My first Dodge letter was dated the same day as my email. Couple of weeks later got the bishop form letter, then the final Dodge letter about two months from my initial email.

Congratulations!
