Coming out to my pre-teen daughter

Daughter: "I don't have a testimony"

Me: "That's ok. I don't either"

She had a nice smile as we talked about how normal is was not to believe in the Mormon Church just because someone tells you too.

Yeah, I picture her getting her PhD before she gets married.

Crazy comment from a recent church lesson.

"how many of you are willing to kill for the book of mormon? ......... kill the TV and pick up the book of Mormon"

Awkward silence, but that's a pretty good question ... how many of my fellow ward members would be willing to kill if their stake president told them to (ala MMM)?
