How Friday the 13th actually was good luck for me today. I woke up and was laying out my suit clothes to attend a memorial service this afternoon . . .

I had turned on the TV and was getting things ready when the newscaster noted that it was Friday the 13th.

I paused and thought, "Wait. The memorial service is on the 14th. Today is the 13th?"

That would have been embarrassing if I showed up for a memorial service and nobody came.
