That's what the ladies on Babycenter are pondering right now...

http://community.babycenter.com/post/a31186699/gay_lifestyle_and_the_afterlife

It's already gotten a bit contentious.

I think we should be so grateful for an 'afterlight' -if there is any- that we would tolerate everybody else the same gift, and try and use this life to (regardless of an afterlife or not) training to allowing and accepting and forgiving and loving absolutely all people, even mass murderers, the same gift...
The churches waiving intolerance about homosexual practice, is not making their members particularly 'fit' for the gift of love (and 'heaven')....

And if the homosexuals have love, or one wants them to have it, then why demand sexual abstinance or sexual practices that may make it more difficult for them to experience love?

Why is it so difficult for mormonism to promote real love?

If there is an afterlife, I am assuming we will not have physical bodies, so sex as we know it is not likely to exist. Who knows? We will find out when we get there, or not.

What is an afterlife worth without physical bodies?

Maybe we will have something even better.

I'd like to be able to breathe underwater and be able to fly.

And appear and disappear and walk through walls and teleport to whereever I like.

That sounds like extensions, not 'instead'. Technology may make it possible without bodily changes...

NOBODY, not even joseph smith, knows the answer.

Imagine poor Joseph existing in an afterlife with no sex.

Yeah, if we were just balls of energy, we probably wouldn't even have a gender, never mind be thinking about sex.

Some of those believing in an after-life, use the strength this hope gives them, to make it more difficult for others to have love unconstrained.

Maybe 'unrestrained' instead of 'unconstrained' would improve the sentenced a little bit?

But Would the one saying this be a 'prophet' in peoples eyes?
Shouldn't he/she either be more 'diffuse' or in lieu with majority?
