One night several years ago I watched the PBS documentary "The Mormons" thinking it might be interesting and strengthen my testimony. I was actually shocked by the things I was hearing for the first time regarding JS. Confused I did a wiki search on JS. I was in utter shock after reading. I was certain that this unreliable wiki page had been written by anti-mormons. The things I was hearing blew my mind. I noticed that wiki had source links to the info they were providing and I noticed that many of these links were biographies written about JS. I checked out some of the biographers at the library whom I knew I could rely on. If Mormon biographers were admiting to these things I was reading about than these facts were with out a doubt true. One book in particular was "Rough Stone Rolling." I was surprised at how candid he was in admitting all the dirt on JS. In the following months I poured over the massive damning evidence against JS that wiki provided and learned just about everything I needed to in regards to the conman. Interstingly enough when I came out to my husband about the true history of JS and the church he was only willing to read non biased subjective info. He felt anything not supporting Mormonism was anti. I showed him the wiki sites that I had collected. There was so much info on wiki that it took me about 10 hours to get through it all with him. Props to Wikipedia. They get alot of crap for not being legitimate but I for one have learned a ton and been surprised with the accuracy. Of course nothing is ever 100 percent unbiased so it can be tough. Here are some of the best.
