So I have this autoimmune thingy called Vitiligo where my body is killing its own melanin cells... which leaves me with white patches of hair and skin!
I am becoming more 'white and delightsome', in spite of my apostasy!

I like dark pigmented skin...white skin doesn't age as well. When I look in the mirror I see sun spots and my huge pores. I wish I had darker skin sometimes... oh the audacity..and the times before the civil rights movement. I look at everyone as a part of the human race, we just evolved in different regions. Funny thread!

I have some of those dark spots too. I just thought it was my wickedness leaking out.

haha. love it. Good thing I plan on getting a lot of plastic surgery and laser treatments in the future. I love the sun a little too much.

So, yeah, it's possible.

My moles have gotten smaller and freckles have disappeared since my apostacy. I think it's a result of my dark and loathsome Scicilian half trying to eclipse my white, delightsome and cancer-prone Sacandinavian half.

"How much time/money do you spend tanning" is the question I usually get--except I'm biracial and got my tan from my father. When I was growing up other kids would try and wipe my skin to see if the colour would come off. I got all of the oreo and coconut jokes too. Now everyone *wants* to be tan. I always wanted to do a "Twilight Zone" episode about what would happen if people went to a tanning salon and got darker -- permanently.

My DH hears a weather forecast for sun and becomes instantly evil. I try and and try to keep up with him, but can't. I just can't tone down the white and delightsome shade no matter how much I try! There are some brown spots developing that look like leaks. That is the best I can do. To look evenly wicked I will either have to use bronzer, or get those spots zapped by a laser to look evenly righteous. It is one hell of a dilemma!
And my poor children! What to do? One neon white, one brown, one like me, white but leaking brown. What to do?

I don't think that they are going to go to the Celestial Kingdom looking like this...
