I know, Dave, I know. Last week we had a Yellow Snow warning, but nothing came of it.

Though snow DID come within 30 miles...

We probably won't get any this time, but we will see!

The coldest winter of my life was the winter I spent in Kendal.

Had a flat at a farmhouse a few miles from town. Plenty of snow and LOTS of cold temps. We had to move the propane stove from the kitchen into the living/sleeping room to try and keep the chill off.

Kendal is in the English Lake District. It's high so does get very cold.

last winter in New England

The snow from every storm could be measured in feet. This year there was that weird ice storm in October while the leaves were still on that knocked out power and closed schools for a week and even Halloween had to be postponed.

Other than that, just a few flakes and highs in the 40s (F)

Last year we had snow throughout November and December that lasted through to January as we had temperatures of as low as -15C.
