i had the same concern. i did send my email twice. since i didn't get a reply i resent it 3 days later. then 2-3 weeks later i called to see what's up.
they told me that i had been given the 30 or 60 grace period.
i told them to reread my email or lawsuit or story to local newspaper or both.
they told me over the phone that the were going to proceed right away. they did.
My experience was similar. 8 months passed, before I finally received my confirmation letter. I called Greg Dodge 3 times. The first two times, I got an assistant, who told me they were going to proceed right away, but they did not. Finally, I got through to Greg Dodge, and threatened a lawsuit. Four days after that call, I got my letter.
I would love to resign again and again, it was so satisfying!
the surprise would be that one could resign twice, meaning the letter the individual received the first time represented a sham so TSCC continued to count me for PR purposes
It also sends a message to the morg and brings a sense of satisfaction.
Names are moved from one file to another in SLC. The good thing is the names are hopefully removed altogether at the local level unless a spouse is still active.
