I saw another thread where someone had a law partner that was LDS and just couldn't be reasoned with. This leads me to wonder: In Utah, when both parties of a lawsuit are mormon and the jury is mormon, do they skip the evidence part of the trial and just ask the jury: "since ye lack wisdom in this case, ask of God who giveth to men and make sure you ask sincerly"
This could speed up the entire legal process. You wouldn't need to call witnesses, no cross examinations......
Do LDS lawyers just flip an internal switch that says Church - turn off evidence seeking mind: Lawyer mode - turn on evidence seeking mind? Those are the ones who baffle me the most.
