Six million Holocaust victims are on the other side. They've been waiting for over 67 years for their work to be done so they can progress to their Celestial Reward.

However the heartless Mormon leaders refuse to do the right thing and get their temple work done because of complaints by a bunch of people who don't believe in the true gospel.

How can these leaders turn their backs on these Holocaust victims? They are now victims twice! In the afterlife, Holocaust victims have been made "second-class detainees of the Spirit Prison." While they watch others who die there and then forthwith receive their ordinances so they can go on to their eternal glory (Mitt's FIL, Obama's Mother etc.) They are stuck there. When one of them accidentally gets their work done the Mormon leaders undo it faster than Bill Maher.

I'm disgusted that these Mormon leaders would victimize six million Holocaust victims just to gain favor with the world. What ever happened to having the "courage of your convictions?" What ever happened to that song we used to sing in Church: "Do what is right let the consequence follow."

It's almost as if the Church leaders didn't believe their own teachings.

Bit of a pickle, isn't it?

And yet, in the history of the world, these six million people are a tiny drop in a 55 gallon drum. You need to take the Mormon approach (said when it suits them), "It'll all get sorted out in the Hereafter."

Excellent point, baura.

What response and discussion would it generate if folks went on some pro-Mormon boards and made the point that caving in to the pressure from the Jews does nothing but revictimize the Jews by not letting them get to heaven?

I would love to see hard-core believers (who sincerely believe that these poor Jews need these ordinances) take an active stance to ENCOURAGE more temple work for the Holocaust victims (and victims of other atrocities, like the Turkish genocide of the Armenians, Pol Pot's genocide in Cambodia, the Japanese rape of Nanking, etc.) because the unfortunate souls suffered ENOUGH in mortality, and to now abandon them in the afterlife is just cruel.

I would love to see that argument put out there.

However, remember that Mormons NEVER argue a position that contradicts what the leaders say. Scriptures, the still-small voice, logic, none of these matter if certain MEN have spoken.

My favorite example of this is the MX "shell game" basing for multiple strike missiles that was proposed for Northern Utah's desert. Then-senator Jake Garn was a tireless proponent to bring this to Utah. He argued in the Senate for it. He traveled around and gave talks in support of it. He was interviewed on political programs supporting it. He repeatedly went on talk radio shows in Utah and would answer any caller's objections. It was good for America, it was good for Utah, it was good for world peace.

Then the FP came out against it. The next week Garn was proudly leading the fight to keep MX out of Utah.

Does ANYONE think Romney would be different?
