Did trying to live the law of consecration, and having all the members homes legally owned by the church have any reason to do with the Mormons being driven out of Navoo?

It would certainly explain why you never heard much about the law of consecration after the mos arrived in Utah. Everyone would have learned their lesson, if the real reason they were forced to leave Illinois was because the church got them all evicted off their land.

It was more of a OH & MO practice. And yes it was a factor.

Where did you get the idea that Mormons in Nauvoo were living the law of consecration or that all the homes were owned by the Church?
