So, this is a follow up from another post that I had about my ex-boyfriend and finding gay porn on his computer. Because we can be as anonymous as we want, how many of you guys who would consider yourselves straight, or perhaps even just bi-curious, have ever perused through gay porn or even the men seeking men section on Craigslist, out of curiosity?

I am one hundred percent hetero sexual. I have never sought out gay porn (although I have seen some inadvertently while searching for straight porn..lol). I can honestly say that I have never been bi-curious or the least bit curious about men sexually. I think if an adult man is looking at gay porn regularly then he probably is gay.

My thoughts exactly, so saved me the bother of writing it myself.

My desire to look at gay porn (and only gay porn) is what finally convinced me I'm gay. Does your boyfriend also have some straight porn in there too?

While I realize that every case is different, my gut feeling is that your boyfriend is gay. Do a simple test that doesn't fail: go somewhere where there is likely to be a lot of attractive people (who are preferable wearing as little as possible, maybe a swimming pool) and see who he checks out. If he checks out all the guys and none of the women, he's gay.

Gay guys can do a really good job of faking it, especially those with a religious background where being gay was forbidden. I've heard that these relationships typically last about 7 years, long enough to have a few kids, before he calls it and decides that he's gay. Mixed-orientation marrages have a terrible success rate.

Xyandro- lots of straight porn but plenty of gay porn too.

Hmm... I'd doubt that the straight porn is just a cover-up; whenever I find myself there, I just click away; not interested.

Having both does speak for being bi; I'd say do the "gay test" and see what you get.

meh, i've watched a few gay clips. out of curiosity's sake. i'm not turned on by it so i guess i'm not gay. i'm prefer vaginas.

No reason why other than I'm straight.

Your friend sounds bi to me if he's got plenty of both.

Although the straight porn could just be a cover story....

Or he likes some of the male actors in the straight porn. Does he have any lesbian porn in there?

on a side note, i'm admirer of a great human figure, male and female alike, most gay men in those things have phenomenal bodies. most of my gay friends in real life aren't so blessed.

I agree. I think if a man is interested in gay porn, he is probably harboring at least some sexual attraction to men.

This is a total over-generalization, but isn't it weird how most bisexual people end up with men? If women are bisexual, they almost always wind up with a man. If a man is bisexual, he almost always winds up with a man, too. No wonder I can't find a good man; they're all taken!

I'm not taken, and I am a man, but I am not all that good.

I watch lesbian porn almost exclusively. Just there being a dude in the scene at all is a turn off to me.

LOL, I don't watch exclusively lesbian porn, but if there is more then one dude in the video, I typically look for something else. If you are going to have a threesome, then two of the people need to have vaginas.

Quite so. If the penises outnumber the vaginas in any porn, then it is not the porn for me.

I gotta admit... I LOVE Porn...

I like looking at guys with big Dicks, I like seeing women suck on them, I like seeing men with then 'do the deed' with them.

It's a Double Turn-On when me & S.O.(female) watch together.

Porn is PURE FANTASY, the only porn I think is destructive is when:

featuring or available to children;
spouse/s.o. has a Major Problem with it, can't accept or resolve.

I'm 100% sure this reflects a deficiency of love/affection from my parents, btw.

I don't say that like I'm superior to those who enjoy it. It's just not something that interests me. I'm also one of those who'd rather not have men in hetero porn. Women. Give me women.

...you're always going to get responses you might not be comfortable with.

"Straight" "Gay" and "Bi" porn are only three of what must be dozens of product categorizations, but all those merely cater to the lowest common denominators. Since Kinsey, who tried to simplify the range of human sexual appetites into seven basic categorizations, researchers have begun to realize that sexuality and sexual proclivities lie along a continuum on which
"Straight" "Gay" and "Bi" are only little specific blips.

Why box up yourself or your ex-boyfriend in such a limiting fashion?

It's a spectrum of sexuality, not 3 groups.

When people say that "...if you do this, then it means that..." I think they haven't really considered the utter variation available in the way humans are sexual.

+10000000

Sexuality is way more fluid than most people think. Just listen to Margaret Cho talk about it sometime. :)

That mindset belongs firmly in the 1990s. Everybody knows there are at least 4 boxes today, with the addition of "transgendered"!

Some straight men are drawn to so called shemales, many of them experiment in that sector of sexuality for a while. I guess lots of it has to do with biological limitations and circumstances. I guess men have excessive sexual energies compared to women. Women can not meet that demand from men because it is not in their biological interest to waste their precious eggs and go into long periods of idleness and dependence on a man who only wanted sex. Many straight men in our civilization fail at playing this reproduction-game and have to seek to channel their sexuality before they self-destruct emotionally and sexually.

I have never looked at male gay porn. In fact, just like Alexzander said, just having a guy in the picture, or scene, is a turn off for me. I accept gay people and have many friends who are gay, but for me there is absolutely nothing there to even see a naked guy in the picture. I have talked to my gay friends about their relationships but for me there is not even the slightest curiosity with the same sex. I am completely happy loving women and watching women love each other, but the whole fantasy of porn is ruined if there is a guy in the picture at all.
