I had a nightmare last night that I was still on my mission but I didn't believe anymore. A mission was bad enough when I believed but not believing was pure torture. Then I realized this might have been the case for some people.

Yeah, it's a common dream

I've had many flavors of that dream, from being trapped on a SECOND mission, to just laughing at them, flipping the bird and walking away. The story improves over time.

i used to have nightmares like that a lot

for several years after i left tscc i had frequent nightmares that i was about to go on another mission or about to go back to byu. i would wake up horribly depressed and then relieved as i realized it was just a bad dream.

I can't remember the last time I had one. I know I had them, but I'm 10-12 years post mission and 5-6 years post mo, so that's my time frame.

They do get easier over time. The last ones I had were all about me escaping my second mission and meeting up with the girl who was flirting with me.
