I am being petty

I have noticed a trend on FB with TBM women that they over do it with the damn exclamation points. I know it is silly, but I interpret their over use of the punctuation mark, as "blowing sunshine up everyone's arse" and "one cannot murmur, but always put on a damn happy face". One exclamation point is sufficient IMO for most cases, but a effing row of 3-bizillion exclamation points after every freaking sentence is irritating the hell out of me.

Reminds me of that Seinfeld episode where Elaine breaks up with a boyfriend because he wrote down a phone message for her and didn't use an exclamation point when saying that her friend had a baby. Hilarity ensues ...

My sister does this. TBM to the core. Also refuses to capitalize "I" when referring to herself, even though she has good grammar and capitalization otherwise.

Gee, think she could get any more obvious with the self negation? Wonder if she knows the message she's sending?

I admit I hate people who type the numbers 1 and 0 with the letters l and o.

One of my other pet(ty) peeves is the word atheist getting spelled athiest. English is a fascinating language.
