Notice on mormon.org under "find a Mormon church" they ask for your entire address in order to find a chapel near you. I don't know about Utah, but in Aussie, a suburb or postcode would suffice. Is this info passed on the missionaries? (n/t)

It would suffice here, too.

In fact, most people who do ask for a location require only your postal code. I'm sure it must be for missionaries to come by. This may be another reason that missionaries are having a hard time. In the States, anyway, Americans have become understandably paranoid about giving out such things as addresses. I bet not too many people here give the LDS church their personal info anymore.

Well, I went to mormon.org and they'd have a hard time finding me, seeing as I'm one of about 340 townhouses at the same address. :)

I suppose you could use a neighbor's address

A neighbor you don't like, of course.

But, yeah, I'm getting fed up with all sorts of businesses wanting contact info they don't really need. I've learned to tell the retail clerks, "No," when they ask for my phone number or postal code. And I have a Gmail account I use exclusively for online purchases.

There are often multiple ward houses within a zip code in Utah.

They couldn't have you stumble into the wrong one and like the people there.

CAUSE YOU CAN'T ATTEND IT.
