So as to not hijack a previous thread: “Letter to the editor. Why is LDS church denying its doctrine?” (
http://exmormon.org/phorum/read.php?2,440529 ), the apologetic comment by David H – besides turning logic on its head – uses the term: “mormophobic”. I haven’t seen this before. It’s obviously an attempt to dismiss out of hand any criticism of LDS Corp by attaching this label to such criticism.
I believe that similar terms could be applied to those ‘arguments’ put forth by LDS Corp apologists. How about:
truthophobic
logicophobic
realityophobic
LDS Corp apologists try to argue against truth and logic, as well as a denial of reality.
