Someone put up a picture of Ralph Waldo Emerson near the LDS Institute building on campus, with the words "WAKE UP!" written across it in dark red letters. By the end of the day all that was left of the sign was a tiny ripped corner piece hanging by itself. It made me remember how gullible and sheepish I was when I was Mormon. I went along with the popular ideas of the majority group just to fit in when deep down inside I innately knew this religion wasn't right for me. Maybe for other people, and I want to respect that, but not for me. I think it takes more courage to think for yourself.
