It only took me 9 or so years, but I finally got the guts to remove my name from the records of TSC. My mom left the church when I was 8, and I became inactive when I was 18, and able to make the choice. I put off sending in my letter, afraid of what my dad and the rest of my TBM family would think. I've spent (SO) many years reading this site, and it is really nice to remember I'm not alone in this. Thank you to everyone for sharing your stories. There are people who need them.
