While I'm obviously being sarcastic here, there is a point to my sarcasm. It speaks to where this academic places the bar of evidence. Not very high...

The only problem with this story is that it is not very complete. I have read it three times, and every time I'm left thinking, "Who the hell is Sarah?"

Why is it that most of the miraculous stories we hear only get told after all the witnesses are dead?

1. Kerie dies and appears to Sarah
2. Sarah dies and appears to Don
3. Don dies
4. Now it's time to tell the story

His desnews articles seem to be written for an unbelievably uncritical audience-- kind of like most conference addresses.

when my DW tells me sappy stories like this, I tell her about the story (I think Hitchen's relates it in God is Not Great) of the guy who dies and all that happens on the "other side" is he plays golf with his friend (who is not dead btw) ... the doctors are able to bring him back.

Conclusion: Golf is true.

No more worrying about how our hairdos will hold up as we travel though time and space!

Either that or we will have Celestial curling irons to tote along, with our make up so we look beautiful (yet mature!).
