If the church is willing to spend $5 billion in cash on shopping mall.....just how big is the budget for the Strengthening Church Members Committee?

Maybe its snooping and surveillance is A LOT more extensive than we know. The church has hired former FBI & CIA agents. The church knows no one in Utah (like the Attorney General) is going to ask questions or hold them accountable. With tons of cash coming in the door every week, an overwhelming need to control, a sense of entitlement and no oversight, what's to stop them from spending hundreds of millions dollars spying on perceived threats?

Homeland Security and the Pentagon are about the only government agencies with increasing budgets nowadays. They like throwing money around, have no regard for civil rights (especially if you're an unbeliever or damn dirty hippy) and are not above questionably leagl or theical tactics.

Sounds like a perfect match (and matching funds) for the morg.
