Who here would vote for someone JUST so Mormonism would get the spotlight?

Just curious due to a comment in another thread...

I'm not judging. I'm merely wondering if anyone would cast a vote for ulterior motives; this one in particular.

I personally will not vote this time around because I'm not pleased with any nominee...

I could never in good conscience vote for reasons other than what I think is good for the country

I think we exaggerate the effects a spotlight would have on Mormonism. Just because we care about the various crazy doctrines of Mormonism doesn't mean anybody else would. Most people would be bored to tears with the discussion.

Either way, no, I respect my vote way too much to waste it on someone I don't like.

I really hope this dies down. I don't like having this up front and center all the time. There are other things that are more important to discuss, and do in life.

I'm not saying I would, but I'd certainly be tempted.

Since I've concluded that all politicians are alike and none are trustworthy.....
And since I think the whole system is rigged anyway and have thought so since we got Dubya as president without electing him...

If I thought Mittens getting elected would somehow set things in motion to seriously cramp the morg's style, then sure, I'd vote for him.

In fact that's the only reason I'd vote for him.
