"Performing for the Profit" tonight

my cousins child is at the new Kansas City temple and they are preparing to perform for the profit tonight.A "cultural celebration".....

It is all she can talk about for the last 2 weeks..... *vomit*

I would be interested to see what this "cultural celebration" is all about...... will there be funeral potatoes? And jello???

Just some typical 'profit worship'.

Maybe TSM will go off script and them members will get to see some of his advancing senility. Of course if that happens, they will turn it into a faith promoting story.

My friend's daughter will be in that tonight. They are excited.

The LDS leaders from SLC will be there to watch and tomorrow there is the temple dedication. I wish someone who is actually going to watch return and report what this dance festival included and if Monson spoke.

It seems to be the thing for all the youth to perform a dance festival of sorts for the prophet's entertainment whenever a new temple is dedicated. Tomorrow will be the hanky wave.

My friend's family is really so 'TBM' that it is difficult to listen to the constant dialogue of temple events.
