A facebook friend is trying to resign, but it has been over a month since she sent her letter in to SLC. She's wondering what her next step is.

And then I came here and searched "greg dodge" to find his phone #, and see some weird threads about him being gone. What's up with Greg?

And, is there still a # for his office, or whoever took his place?

I also set my email as urgent so it would appear at the top with a red exclamation mark...I know hotmail offers that but I'm not sure about other email companies...I also sent like 6 copies- I think they got the hint;)

I tried sending my resignation to Greg and I got no response...

Some posters on the board have said Greg is no longer there and to use msr-confrec@ldschurch.org

My experience emailing that address is I sent an email early April and hadn't heard anything, April 26th I sent a follow up email asking for status on my resignation request and shortly after got a letter dated April 28th.

I think they missed my initial email..by accident or on purpose who knows...but took action on the follow up message as if it was the initial message.

Wonder if Greg finally saw the light? Or just got tired of it and took a new position with the mother ship.

Or, they are just overwhelmed with work.

I believe RPackham has spoken with him? Someone on the board confirmed he is still there, but of course rumors are rampant with a new email for resigning.
It is more likely that so many of us are resigning by email it makes more sense to have an official address to send to rather than Greg's personally.

When the rumor about Dodge being no longer in the membership office first came up here, I telephoned the department and asked to speak with him. The young man who answered the phone said he wasn't available at the moment. I asked specifically if he was still on the staff and was told "He's the head of the department!"

Time to stop the false rumors!
