Seattle....Man who frequented a university area coffee shop opened fire shooting four people. 2 died on scene, and two at the hospital with wounds to the head.

He then kills a mother of two outside to make a get-a-way in her car.

Later he shoots himself. Six dead total. All started with coffee.

How many mo's and even exmo's said: (or thought): "If they had not been drinking coffee, they would still be alive today." ?
WoW saves lives.

The saddness is minimalized by a need to prove Joe Smith was a prophet amid all evidence to the contrary.

Logical fallacy 101: "affirming the consequent."

If X, then Y

Y, so OBVIOUSLY X

If all apostles of the Mormon church have either God Complexes or suffer from dellusional psychosis, then if I either have a God complex or suffer from dellusional psychosis, then I must be a PROPHET, I AM JOSEPH SMITH. More likely than not, this is how Joseph Smith came to the point of "realizing" he was a prophet.

Since the total combined group of all prophets contains both false and true prophets, then since I am a false prophet, then I must be a PROPHET, See this, Mormon logics are too damn fun and easy.

Since things/ideas that are false must first exist to be judged as false, then since the golden plates don't exist, then they can't be false, So, the Golden Plates are true; then by inference the Book of Mormon is true.

If 6 are dead at coffee shop, then coffee drinking surely caused it

Ten days from now ... A person drinks coffee ... 6 more people will obviously die, obviously

Wouldn't it be great to somehow make quotes like these go viral within the Mormon population? Like viral sacrament meeting talks? What a great Idea. It would make the church so much more interesting and dynamic. I could then play both the"guess the logical" fallacy game while at the same time playing "guess the cognitive bias" game. Awesome, just awesome.

Oh how I love Mormons, they are just so full of all kinds of win.

Every time you drink a cup of coffee God kills a kitten.

Every time you drink coffee God kills a kitten

then applying Mormon logic:

God kills a kitten, so you must drink coffee; and by drinking coffee, God must kill another kitten, which in turn causes you to drink coffee, and then more kittens must die

Soon you will be dead from drinking too much coffee and/or the world will be without kittens.

Perhaps this is what the Mormons mean when they call God infinite. He certainly is infinite, at least in the loop of Mormon logics.

My question is, what are we supposed to do with all the dead kittens?

How about TBM drivers who fall asleep at the wheel and kill themselves and others because of the WoW?

And how about the number of men who die of prostate cancer because they won't touch the hated coffee?

And how about those who die of diabetes because they won't drink coffee?

And how about the suicides because the WoW forbids coffee when the figures show it reduces depression?

Coffee kills? Au contraire. JS was SOME prophet!

Racer Cafe is a restaurant... as in they serve food... that they cook. (In fact one of the wounded is the chef)

Cafe Racer also sells food and has a bar. Based on the website it clearly has a liberal green vibe to it. It is even calling itself the Official Bad Art Museum of Art or OBAMA. The guy who shot up the place had been banned from the cafe for past bad behavior. Anyone want to make a bet that he was a right wing gun nut who has been listening to all the violent rhetoric from the right wing talkers?

This happened only a month earlier:
http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2018110502_bunker01m.html
"Keller, a survivalist who was reportedly bracing for the "end of the world," apparently had planned to ride out the apocalypse alone — even before he allegedly killed his wife of 21 years and their teenage daughter and set fire to their home."

What's up with these end time survivalist guys? There is too much of this type of crazy going on these days for my taste.

I was listening to them talk about him on the radio today. The guy obviously had some mental issues. Everyone knew it, but didn't or couldn't do anything about it. Family, police, dr.'s and the community all knew he wasn't right mentally.

IMO this is more about mental health, and the lack of attention it gets.

That is the trouble with all the violent rhetoric being spewed these days. A mentally unstable person may decide to carry out the ideas being expressed. But just look at how damaging the Mormon religion has been to the mental health of many people on this board. I think the violent rhetoric can make people feel like they are under siege and make them mentally unstable. Especially if they experience other major stressors like job loss.

And people wonder what sets these guys off?

http://www.csgv.org/issues-and-campaigns/guns-democracy-and-freedom/insurrection-timeline
July 27, 2008—Jim Adkisson shoots and kills two people at a progressive church in Knoxville, Tennessee, wounding two. Adkisson calls it “a symbolic killing” because he really “wanted to kill…every Democrat in the Senate & House, the 100 people in Bernard Goldberg's book,” but was unable to gain access to them.

February 20, 2009—FOX commentator Glenn Beck hosts a program that games a 2014 civil war scenario called “The Bubba Effect.” It involves citizen militias in the South and West taking up arms against the U.S. government.

March 9, 2009—NRA celebrity spokesman Chuck Norris writes in an editorial published at WorldNetDaily: “How much more will Americans take? When will enough be enough? And, when that time comes, will our leaders finally listen or will history need to record a second American Revolution?”

April 7, 2009—The Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Intelligence and Analysis releases an assessment of right wing extremism in the United States. The Department notes that “the economic downturn and the election of the first African American president present unique drivers for rightwing radicalization and recruitment.” Recalling the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing by Timothy McVeigh, the Department speculates, “The possible passage of new restrictions on firearms and the return of military veterans facing significant challenges reintegrating into their communities could lead to the potential emergence of terrorist groups or lone wolf extremists capable of carrying out violent attacks.”

whose family said was mentally ill but refused to get help.
Stop trying to make horrible tragedies into political issues.

He had been banned from the cafe because of his disruptive behavior, and on that day was told he could buy some coffee but would have to take it elsewhere.
He used to live in that area and hang out in that neighborhood.
You trying to make this a political issue is despicable.

Some out there would determine that the coffee drinkers were being punished, but then so have postal workers, mall shoppers, library attendees in SLC, persons on airline flights, etc. Bottom line the world is just fudged up.

the loving MORmON father God, the same one who let 1/3 of his spirit children wander off unchecked into eternal damnation before mortality even started, is out watching over his earthly children.... waiting to see if they break any his commandments so he can have them killed. Remember, God so loved the world that He had his only begotten son brutally murdered on a cross. SO, what do you think Heavenly Father is going to do for you, since he loves you too?

And so does a young porn actor/model in Montreal... and then he killed his friend... and mailed some body parts to various politicians... and now he's got Interpol after him.

One seriously disturbed individual:
