My question, if a person's addiction is related to mormonism (trying to be perfect for example), how can a church based service help? It would be like treating someone for drug addiction and dropping them off at the crack house when done.

legal drugs makes me stable and in secret more accepted attending church and never vonerable and attacked while kept secret. Tho when off the drugs up to 6 months, I was terminated for unstability, even fights in the church people punching first. No one likes me off drugs even if rightous, I'm dangerous. The drugs is my saving grace. The prescribed medication also for depression tho works like viagra and makes me horny as joe swine smith, no one says boo and I've laid and married a few woman for wrong reasons but my present wife I didnt marry for sex, was a problem but mastubation and drugs
is better and she accepts that and is a true saint to put up with me... If I overcome it, there will be more punch ups as
my super unstable energy without drugs gets me into fights quick and more easy judged or misjudged..

Thats my story. Tho the addiction lds recovery programme I attend dont judge and good to me and more out of that than going to church. The course come well to late when I really needed it to save the last holier than thou art marrige.
I am not in a judgmental marrige anymore tho she chooses to be a saint but I'm less dangerous not trying to be saint now.
